Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 October 2026
OniData. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. Your account
- You must give accurate details and keep them up to date. You must be at least 18 years old.
- One person, one account. Do not create several accounts to collect bonuses or avoid limits.
- You are responsible for your password and your transaction PIN. Do not share them, including with anyone who says they work for us. We will never ask for your PIN.
- After several wrong PIN or password attempts, the account is locked for a short period to protect you.
- Some services need identity verification (for example with your NIN). We may refuse or limit a service if we cannot verify you.
2. Your wallet
- Your wallet balance is a record of money you have paid to us to buy services on the platform. It is not a bank account and does not earn interest.
- You can fund your wallet by the methods shown in your account. Fees, if any, are shown before you pay.
- Withdrawals and refunds are made only where the service says so, or where we owe you a refund under these terms.
3. Orders and delivery
- Airtime, data, cable TV, electricity, exam PINs and similar items are supplied through third-party providers. Delivery is usually quick but can be delayed when a provider or network has a problem.
- An order may show as pending while we wait for the provider. Check your transaction history for the latest status.
- If an order fails, the amount is returned to your wallet.
- Check the phone number, meter number, smartcard number and amount before you confirm. If you enter the wrong details and the service is delivered, we cannot reverse it.
- Electricity tokens, exam PINs and recharge card PINs are final once issued to you. If one does not work, contact us with your receipt and we will take it up with the provider.
- Prices can change. The price shown when you confirm an order is the price you pay.
4. Recharge cards and ePINs
If you buy PINs to print and sell, you are responsible for how you store, print and sell them. Keep a record of what you sell. A PIN that has already been loaded cannot be replaced unless the fault is ours.
5. Airtime to cash, savings and other features
- Airtime to cash: rates, limits and processing time are shown on the page. You may send only airtime that belongs to you. We may reject, delay or reverse a request we believe is fraudulent.
- Savings: money you lock stays locked for the period you chose. Breaking a plan early carries the penalty shown on the page, and early withdrawal earns no bonus.
- Referrals and bonuses: they are given under the conditions shown on the page, and we can withhold or remove them if they were obtained by abuse.
6. API access
If you are given an API key, keep it secret. You are responsible for every order placed with your key. We may limit or turn off access that harms the service or other users.
7. What you must not do
- Use the service for fraud, money laundering, or with stolen cards, accounts or airtime.
- Try to break into the platform, test it for weaknesses without our written permission, or overload it.
- Abuse bonuses, coupons or referrals, or use fake details.
- Resell the service in a way that misleads your customers about who supplies it.
We may suspend or close an account, and hold funds while we investigate, if we have reasonable grounds to think these rules were broken or the law requires it. Where we do, we will tell you why where the law allows.
8. Our responsibility
We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. Networks, banks and providers are outside our control. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by provider or network failures, wrong details you entered, or events beyond our control. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Nigerian law that cannot be limited.
9. Complaints
If something went wrong, write to sales@onidata.com.ng with your transaction reference and what happened, or use the support chat in your account. We will look into it and reply as soon as we can.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell you about important changes in your account or by email. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
